The Reveal
In this blog post, I will be letting you in on the inside scoop of making scrunchies.
So, when I began to sew my scrunchies I realize that I was not the best at this method, however I carried it through to completing a final scrunchy.
I used a Mason Jar to hold the material and the elastic inlace while I sewed around from end to end.
I will admit, hand sewing is quiet hard!
You might be wondering - why didn't you use a sewing machine?! Unfortunately, my Nonnas sewing machine had an unforeseeable malfunctioned and I was unable to use it. *boooo*
Have no fear....there are other ways to achieve the perfect scrunchies.
So, I tried a hot glue gun method. Zero surprise, this was much easier, time efficient and aesthetically pleasing!
So...the moment you have all been waiting for!
I am very happy with the way that my scrunchies turned out!
My Future goal with my scrunchies would be:
1. Use a sewing machine
2. Sell my scrunchies in local stores to raise money for various charitable causes,
